David Stewart Wiley has been honored with the Yale Distinguished Music Educator Award. Wiley earned recognition for his contributions in June 2015.

David Stewart Wiley is Music Director and Conductor of the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra in Virginia.

Wiley’s leadership with the RSO since 1996 has been a remarkable success story, with consistently stellar reviews, innovative commissions of new music fusing classical and bluegrass, and a remarkably diverse and impressive list of guest artists and composers.
